Trial & Purchase Terms

Trial Period

1. Every saddle purchase with 2nd Love Saddles (Ltd.) comes with an 8 day saddle trial period, which begins on the day of delivery. Within this period you can return the saddle(s) for a refund less postage fees and a trial fee equalling 3% of the saddle’s advertised price. A maximum of 2 saddles may be trialled at the same time. All saddles are paid in full prior to being dispatched.

2. We take pictures of the saddles before sending and upon receipt and encourage you to do the same. You are responsible for identifying any existing damage and must notify 2nd Love Saddles immediately via email at 2ndlovesaddles@gmail.com or via Facebook Messenger.

3. You are responsible for maintaining the saddle’s condition as it is received whilst it is in your care. It is up to you to ensure that the saddle is insured against any damage or theft. If the saddle is returned with damage or wear, and is repairable, you will be charged for the repair. If the damage is excessive, or not repairable and deemed unfit for purpose, or you are unable to return the saddle for any reason, the saddle will be considered sold and you will not receive a refund.

4. To avoid unnecessary damage please use a clean saddle cloth or numnah during the trial period. Never use the saddle(s) in the rain, rivers, creeks, or at the beach, and avoid damage from zips, seams, and rough textures in clothing. Only clean the saddle(s) with a damp cloth; not wet. Use the saddle cover, if provided, whenever the saddle is not in use. If saddles are returned dirty there will be a cleaning, which will be deducted from your refund.

5. You must notify 2nd Love Saddles that you wish to return the saddle(s) at any time prior to close of business of the 8th trial day. A tracking number for the posted saddle(s) must be provided no later than 10pm of the 8th trial day. The saddle(s) must be posted insured for the advertised price. Postage will be at your expense.

6. A trial extension can be requested by notifying 2nd Love Saddles with an expected date of return prior to 12pm (midday) of the 8th trial day. Trial extensions will be charged at $10 per day per saddle beyond the 8th trial day. The extension fee will be deducted from the refund should the saddle(s) be returned. Trial extension requests may not be granted if a trial has been requested by another customer.

7. All Trial Period terms apply to the Purchased saddles.

8. Any additional fees are waived upon completion of an 8 day saddle trial period. If notification to return the saddle(s), or extend the trial period, is not received prior to close of business on the 8th trial day, it will be considered that you have agreed to purchase the saddle(s).
